Realitem tries to preserve traditional French know-how by calling on craftspeople and semi-industrial companies to make its products. Realitem, for example, works in close collaboration with tradespeople like French wood-turners, ceramicists, metal-workers and glass-workers.

Sustaining of these crafts is also linked with strong simple values, like commonsense, authenticity and respect for quality.
